CAKE PANS: Loaf Pan. COLOURS: Black, greeen, yellow. TRICKS: Use serrated knife for easy carving. INSTRUCTIONS: I searched for oyster cakes and I wasn't surprised that I didn't find much. So I found a few oyster pictures and with a bread knife and a small serrated knife I carved as best as I could and tried to shape the top and bottom of an oyster shell. The actual oyster is just a lump of fondant and I slightly kneaded in a bit of black and to give the "wet" glistening look I used shortening and rubbed over it. The shell I cut very irregular shaped strips of fondant and wrinkled them at the edges to give a lumpy shell look. The more messy you are at placing the shell strips the more realistic it looks.
